I love this!!! They're all very compelling paragraphs that left me wanting to know more about the characters. Characters are very important to me, so I always like to dissect how an author whose characters I love writes them so well. I love the protest paragraph the most, it's a very dynamic inside view. I also really liked the first paragraph, it's such a unique description of a life/personality, it tells so much in such a simple and perfectly brief way. I did get a bit lost in the paragraph describing the room with the bookshelves but you brought me right back with those sensorial images. This has a lot of potential, I can visualise it in Waterstones 👏
